FA and FE of University of Ljubljana: A Spark

IN COLLABORATION WITH SVETLOBNA GVERILA

The public lighting lamps in Ljubljana’s city centre have been transformed into miniature scenes of various lighting interventions during the Lighting Guerrilla festival for several years now.

In addition to their practical function, these displays create new stories and sensory experiences in the microspace by emitting light and casting different shadows and images at night. The five pairs of participants present a series of dynamic light installations; their common thread is the spark as a metaphor for initiating the life cycle of fire and the transformations it causes. During the Spider Festival, Sparks will appear in Tivoli Park.
