Dancing Through the Summer is an instant composition dance series conceived by Milan Tomášik, a choreographer, performer, artistic director, and teacher working internationally in the field of dance and performing arts. The series is performed in various kinds of outdoor and unconventional spaces. For the Spider Festival, Tomášik has carefully selected his collaborators: the choreographer and performer Andreja Rauch Podrzavnik who understands dance as a behavioral method and a visual potential, and theatre director and musician Jakub Mudrák who is also a composer and has worked with numerous choreographers and dancers. This unique, unrepeatable performance captures the rhythm, body architecture, and physical and sensory actions in a dialogue between performers, live synthesized music, and the audience.
